About
Hai my name is dos
For years before 2020, I was the one watching the magic happen be it Twitch or Justin.TV. During my free time I watched Mario speedruns, LordKebun’s GTA chaos, Dr Disrespect’s energy, you name it and there is a chance I was watching it. I always wanted to try streaming myself, but life kept me busy. Weekends were dedicated to volunteering and other commitments, and streaming stayed on the back burner.
Then 2020 happened. Suddenly, the nonstop weekends turned into time at home, and I finally decided to give streaming a real shot. I went live for the first time in late March, and before long, an incredible community grew around the channel.
That summer, we launched Cosplay Roulette, a channel point reward where I’d dress up as characters you’d recognize from the community or pop culture. We hosted five community tournaments, and I even had the chance to commentate for some of our friends for two more that fall.
In November 2020, we kicked off the Small Streamer Awards, which has continued to grow every year. Since starting the channel, we’ve donated over $1,500 to charities; something I’m extremely proud of.
Fast forward to 2024: I only stream about once a month now. Between being a full-time graduate student, managing my professional career, and volunteering, keeping a consistent stream schedule just isn’t possible. I’ve always believed streaming deserves 100%, and that’s something I can’t commit to right now.
A bit of a rewind, back in 2014, I launched Ricky’s Gaming Vlog on YouTube. It ran for about a year and a half and was my first real online presence beyond social media. After a family loss in 2016, I stepped away and closed the channel.
In 2022, I returned to YouTube with custom Pokémon content. By 2023, I built a consistent schedule, uploading at least two videos every week. If you’re looking for regular content from me, YouTube is the best place to find it. I upload on average 3 videos per week which is much easier to commit to than live streaming.
